Medicare Physician Payment Reform Act of 2009
The Committee granted, by a record vote of 6 to 4, a rule providing for consideration H.R. 3962, the Affordable Health Care for America Act, under a structured rule. The rule provides four hours of debate in the House to be equally divided and controlled by the chair and ranking minority member of the Committee on Energy and Commerce, the chair and ranking minority member of the Committee on Ways and Means, and the chair and ranking minority member of the Committee on Education and Labor. The rule waives all points of order against consideration of the bill except for clauses 9 and 10 of rule XXI.
